Exciting encounters with Bloc Party - And non-encounters with Cold War Kids.

So this one time,

Shiva and I boarded the BART to Oakland on our way to see Bloc Party at Fox Theater.
Upon arrival, we finished our vodka on the corner - the classy ladies we are - and then proceeded into the theater.
Shiva always mixes up time, thus we were there early, which ended up being fantastic because we were right at the front.

This was around the time I was on crutches, or on one anyways, so I definitely got bashed around a bunch (worth it). The concert was AH-MAZING just as itself....
BUT THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The singer, I dunno his name, was reaching out towards the crowd.. at which point I stuck my crutch up in the air.. and he reaches forward AND TAKES IT! Awesome, a little painful since I was now crutch-less, but still awesome. For the rest of the song he proceeded to wave it around and at the end he goes, "Who's crutch is this?!" and once I say it's mine (That's right, he looked directly at me AND sort of talked to me) he then turned towards the crowd and stated, "Everyone, this is the first time... Bloc party has.. Cured somebody!" And the crowd went all crazy. Then he gave me my crutch back (and no I didn't get an autograph :( )

On the way out of the theater a large group of people applauded me as I left. I felt almost as cool as the band... almost.
And then this other time, Shiva and I went to the Fillmore and saw Cold War Kids. They were incredible. I have no exciting stories about this.

Also - Went to Fairfield this weekend with Greg, the only picture I took was of these incredibly poofy-looking flowers.
