Ratatat-tat.

At first I was just going to assume there would be some lame ass video to accompany the song when I searched for it on youtube, (You know how it is when there's no official video)
but how (oddly) fitting and fantastic is that picture.

mmm<3ratatat.

Oh and speaking of rodents with whiskers...

Found this on my phone. When we went to... Morro(sp?) Bay near A-town. You can't quite see it properly in this picture but that bottom squirrel is so fat it's mindblowing. Also, I just realized those squirrels are kissing.. so... my apologies for the soft squirrel porn.

Really, Sara? Twilight?

Favorite Books

This does not apply to the both of us.

Also, I commend your efforts in finding that Santogold remix, and I'm really not meaning to crush your spirits completely, but I'm probably about to.
That is a terrible, terrible remix, and I have it. I know, I know... why do I have it when I don't even like it? I guess so when you find remixes I can say I had them first.

Poet-at-Large

Look at my poem in the description.

Clue:Cross Multiply Cities.

[S]

Santogold...perhaps.

So, its my life long dream to have Jessica appreciate my music, maybe even think I am cool due to my musical interests. And perhaps today is the day that I will impress her!

I found this remix of Santogold's "Shove it." Santogold came to lolla last year, and we did not go see them because friends did not have faith in my music choice. boohoo....

The video is lame shit, I could not figure out how to download the song for free.
Click here to listen and watch (I would suggest not to watch its just a bunch of pictures)

Here is a better remix of "L.E.S Artists" by Justice. It is a mash up with D.A.N.C.E. (L.E.S. stands for lower east side, area in new york, I remember questioning its meaning while in SF.) You learn and hear new things everyday!

p.s. Jessica how do I put a video on the blog?

Oh, The Streets. Why are you so amazing?

J.

"S"?

I see you're signing your posts gossip girl style.

I would make fun of you, except I love gossip girl & i'm going to copy you. (And add "J" to my 3 previous posts.) (And I might go through and edit all the grammar and spelling in every post you put up -- I also might have ADD about spelling.)

Oh yeah, and that picture from Lolla is sa-weet.

Sincerely,
J.

Discovery

I rediscovered the disposable camera whilst in chicago for lollapalooza. i was mindlessly talking (mainly to amuse myself) to the cuban camera store employee. in the next 365 days i want to go to cuba so i was interrogating him for the best route to get to havana with an american passport. on a whim i bought the two packaged disposable kodak cameras, and have been obsessed since; the over saturated color, the remembrance of a favorite past time, and the mystery of a just taken shot all fascinates me.

oh yeah, jessica was there too.

Hi

I'm Jessica, I'm 20 and live in San Francisco.

Above is me holding a drink with an excessively large ratio of vodka to orange juice. This is not a rare occurrence.

I have a new obsession with dark blue nailpolish, also displayed above.

I'm a fashion design major at the Academy of Art here in the city, and can't decide which area I want to go into. I used to paint. I used to play/sing music. I'm also currently hating myself for "used" to doing those things rather than "currently" doing them. Therefore I'm going to try to rekindle both those hobbies.

Sara-ra-ra and I both lived all over the world (Together in Cairo, Egypt). But more about that later because I had too much fun on Spring break (A massive amount of disposable camera pictures: Coming soon) and have a significant amount of work to make up.

Oh, I also love dark chocolate & goat cheese. No, not combined.

J.

Not to begin the blog with the creepiest image possible but;

displayed above is a mini Jessica (Aka: Me -Half of the Kodak Gnome team- in early high school, during an obvious awkward phase.) holding the famed "Gnome". Little did I know, at that moment, just how popular he would become.

The story of the how the gnome (That being that grunchy ass thing engulfed by cassette tape I'm holding) hanging from my balcony in Cairo, Egypt, came to existance has forever remained a mystery. And probably will remain that way until we actually remember how it came to existance in the first place.

The gnome itself has nothing to do with what will be the contents of this blog whatsoever. But anyways.
